I should start by saying that I haven't run anything other than a bath since 1997 so this will be a challenge!

My 89 year old Nan, Evelyn Hayes, lives with Alzheimer's and watching her deteriorate almost week by week is truly awful. I've seen too many examples of impatience and often a complete lack of understanding from a number of professionals she has had dealings with since her diagnosis.  Alzheimer's Society is at the forefront of research and are passionate about creating a society that supports people such as my Nan.  

Sadly, I can't change Nan's condition but I can get my backside around East London for an hour or so (with the help of two of my team and no doubt the wider Sedgwick squad!)  to raise some money to support the great work of Alzheimer's Society.
