Story

We are taking part in an exciting opportunity to raise money for the children of Dr Graham’s Homes, by participating in ‘The Great DGH British Tea Party’. We would love your help!

The *Dr Graham's Homes UK Committee has agreed to sponsor 20 new, needy children to receive an education at Dr Graham's Homes, a boarding school in Kalimpong situated in the beautiful Himalayan foothills of India. This location is far removed from the slums of Kolkata, where many of the children will have grown up. Covid-19 permitting, these new children will start school in 2021. We want to help the UK Committee to reach their target.

In February, Ian & Anji each expect to drink 28 cups of afternoon tea, one each day, usually at about 4.00 in the afternoon. Together, therefore we will drink 56 cups of afternoon tea during the month.

We would like to ask you to help us raise funds by 'buying' these drinks for us. For example, if you were to give us 20p per cup we drink that month, you will have donated £11.20 to help these children. Of course, you can give more, or less, per cup .......

During February, if you join us in this adventure, we would like to spend one of those 'tea' drinking sessions with you, either on the phone, or Skype/Facetime/Zoom! That's if you would like that too.

We hope you will feel able to support us, but if this is not for you, that's fine.
