Story
In September 2021 I signed up to join 19 other people in a fundraising challenge: Climbing Mount Toubkal in the Morroccan High Atlas mountains in September 2022.
Toubkal stands at 4167 Meters above sea level, making it the highest mountain in North Africa, and the 29th highest on the continent.
Climbing Toubkal has been on my bucket list for many years, and after visiting Morrocco in 2019 and seeing it on the horizon, I vowed that I would do it before my 40th birthday.
Donations to my fundraising page will all go to the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF) - The Soldier's Charity, who specialise in providing vital support to soldiers, veterans and their families when they need support the most.
If you are currently serving or have served in the military, you will already be very aware of the fantastic work the ABF do, and how important it is that the charity continues fundraising to carry on doing what they do best - helping those who have committed to serving their country in their time of need.
Thank you in advance for your support and donations, both myself and the ABF really appreciate it 👍🇬🇧
