Story

We all at the Integrated Alcohol Service, IAS felt that this year especially we wanted to do something for one of the amazing charities in Aberdeen. So we are walking the distance from Lands' End to John O'Groats 1609km or 1000 miles in the month of June. We are asking all of you close to us to dig deep and sponsor as much as you can for the amazing charity we have chosen, CLAN. We will be posting pictures and maps of our miles so you will get your money's worth!! Cancer is something that has impacted on all of us in the team, supporting patients with a diagnosis and the personal effect of having friends and family receive a diagnosis. This year the impact of COVID restrictions has meant that many families and friends are going through the diagnosis without the support from those around them they would usually have. CLAN has been there for people dealing with the impact of cancer for over 37 years and their work has never been more important than now which is why IAS has chosen to raise money for CLAN.
