Little Haven's 'I'm a Banker Get Me Out Of Here' Endurance Weekend Part Two

A group of friends (approximately 70 people) are planning a weekend of support at the Little Haven's Children Hospice nr. Southend-on-Sea on 4th and 5th March 2006

On the first weekend of March 2006 we will spend 24 hours at Little Haven's supporting and providing entertainment for the children and their families.

Activities will include, - General maintenance and jobs in the Hospice - Gardening and tidying in the Hospice grounds - Arranging a party and entertainment tea-time - Plus a special challenge in the Hospice grounds The weekend will be demanding for us all. Everyone involved will spend the weekend on-site, living, eating and 'not' sleeping in a large marquee! We will be providing our own entertainment during the evening and plan, - An early evening quiz - Professional Belly Dancing display - Live Jazz Band -  Karaoke Roberto, one of the organisers, continues to have his life touched by the Hospice, where he spends time there with his daughter Lily and family. Lily has a rare incurable disease which will progressively worsen and eventually require in-patient care. She will be there at the weekend to cheer everyone, in her own way. The plan is to raise at least £75,000 for the Hospice, not just with our endurance weekend but through a number of other fundraising events including charity auctions and sponsored London Marathon places.
