On the 22nd March, we at Ibiza Rocks HQ will be walking 25km across London to raise money for the Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity. Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity was formed in 2003 to brighten the lives of children who are living with
serious or life-limiting illnesses, between the ages of 3-18, across the United
Kingdom. Rays of Sunshine is predominantly
about giving young people an experience and that lends synergy to the events
that we put on across the world.
Join us on
our London Bridges 25 km walk as we venture across the capital's
most iconic and scenic geography. Setting out from Hammersmith Bridge in West
London - we head East through the city of London, zig zagging over the River
Thames - taking in unrivalled views of the city skyline and one of the world's
most famous rivers - the Thames! A great opportunity to explore more of London,
whilst meeting others along the way - you will be fully supported with our team
with stops, food & water along the way! The walk finishes at East London's
Tower Bridge 25 km later - here we will head to a local pub for some nibbles
and a celebratory drink!
We are looking to recruit people working in the events industry to take part in an annual event with their workmates to raise money for charity. We think this is a great opportunity for companies to get on board and sponsor their staff with a nominal fee to kick things off that can act, not only as an opportunity to raise money for a great charity, but to as a team-building exercise.
