We had been planning to leave our current location in Woodley in 18 months time - the building is not fit for our purposes and the landlord had told us they wanted the land for redevelopment by November 2019. However, we had word this week that the Landlord will not now be renewing our tenancy at the end of June as we had previously been led to believe. At the moment we have nowhere to go, and very little time to find somewhere. Given the nature of what we do, and as you can probably imagine, we have a lot of stuff. We need your help and we need it urgently. We are working really hard to find a new building for our stock, staff and volunteers to continue helping hundreds of children in our area whose parents are struggling to make ends meet. However, we are realistic and know that three months is no time at all to find new premises - especially in our area and especially not for little to no rent! Therefore, we need a contingency fund so that, in the short term at least, we can rent premises at market value in order to continue our work helping families.
