I recently started working with ICCF Community Homes because I could no longer sit across the table from clients in the food security world and tell them that there was no available housing for them. That homeless shelters were full, any affordable rentals were full, and that there were no options for their situation. At ICCF I now get to work toward the creation of more affordable housing and helping communities understand why it is beneficial to have it in their backyard. The need seems insurmountable, but together we can make a difference, one family at a time.

Family Haven, ICCF Community Homes' emergency shelter for families experiencing homelessness, is 30+ years and is in need of new doors & windows. This shelter is unique because it keeps families together while providing resources to move families into permanent housing. For the upcoming week, Lake Michigan Credit Union is joining with ICCF to match donations dollar-for-dollar up to $10,000. Please help us keep families safe and warm at Family Haven!
