Story
We are mostly a group of scientists based in London. Much of our research is focused on water (and ice). In particular, we are working towards molecular-level understanding of water and in gaining insights to help develop innovative solutions to some of the world's water problems.
WaterAid is an international charity working to provide clean water and decent toilets to everyone, everywhere. Since we believe that clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene should be a normal part of everyone’s daily life, we're taking part in this year's Hever triathlon in aid of WaterAid.
This is our second year at Hever and after last year's shock victory in the half-ironman relay we're entering two teams this time round. Last year's victorious team of Phil, Gabriele, and Angelos will compete again in the half-ironman. Also competing, over the Olympic distance, is "Team Zen", which includes husband and wife (Andrea and Sara) plus Patrick.
We've been training hard (some more so than others!) for our swim, bike, run effort x 2. Please offer us whatever support you can because it's going to a great cause...
