1 in 125 babies are born with CHD. CHSF supports Leeds Congenital Heart Unit, it's patients and their families. We fund lifesaving equipment, parent accommodation, staff training, and a family support service. 100% donor-funded, we can only do this with your help. Empowered lives, because of you.

Story

Icelolly.com is a Leeds based company and is keen to support a local charity who we can build a real relationship with, and the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund fits the bill!

Our chosen charity, the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund, is a Yorkshire-based organisation that supports the Yorkshire heart unit at Leeds General Infirmary. The Children’s Heart Surgery Fund does a great job helping young people born with congenital heart defects, providing support to the children and their families as well as funding vital equipment, research projects and staff training.

We have a team of 23 intrepid walkers who will be taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on the 6th October. The route is a gruelling 23 miles (38.6km) and the challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent (694m), Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m), which should be completed within 12 hours! So no mean feat !!

We wanted to do something motivational as a team and would love to raise as much money as possible for this deserving charity.

Thank you in advance for your kind donations.
