Lands End to John O'Groats · 7 May 2011

The Ickle Pickle Children's Charity turns donations from generous people into specialised equipment such as incubators and ventilators to help Neonatal units provide incredible levels of care for sick and premature babies. More info at: www.icklepickles.org Small Babies : Big Difference

Story

This May, a team of intrepid and foolhardy cyclists will set off from Lands End in Cornwall and position themselves gingerly onto a padded saddle for 11 days.  Battling against the elements, long inclines, dodgy drivers and inner demons, we plan to cover the 1,000 miles to John O’ Groats without suffering anything more serious than some mild chaffing....

On the way we plan to raise some serious money for an amazing charity, the Ickle Pickles Children's Charity, which raises money for intensive care equipment to treat premature and sick babies in Neonatal Units around the UK.  Click the video link (under the photo) if you want to learn a little more about the Ickle Pickles and what they do.

We’re only going to do this once and many of us are getting too old to do too many more of these events, so this could very well be the LAST time we ask you for sponsorship…imagine that…that last time!!  That deserves at least an extra fiver…..

Anyway we’re hoping you’ll consider giving generously…and please don’t forget the gift aid…!

Thanks
