Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity is launching a new appeal to bring cutting edge equipment in the field of breast cancer to the hospital, and we need your help.

Story

IDEX Consulting are taking the plunge from 13,000ft for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to raise money for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.

Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity (QEHB Charity) are raising funds for equipment to allow patients with left-sided breast cancer to have Deep Inspiration Breath Hold treatment (DIBH) which prevents damage to the heart during radiotherapy.

This DIBH treatment is only available in a few NHS hospitals and private hospitals around the UK, and must become a necessity in hospitals, to ensure that they can cure the cancer, but also, protect the heart.

Each member of our sky diving team is aiming to raise a minimum of £300 each! We would appreciate any donation, no matter how big or small!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
