We at IDP Education UK, as an organisation that supports students around the world to achieve their academic and career goals by helping them attain international education in the UK, are passionate about supporting those who have come to the UK to seek protection and refuge. Based in Cardiff, Wales, we are actively involved in our local refugee and asylum seeker community through the Welsh Refugee Council (WRC) @welshrefcouncil. 

The WRC is a Wales-based charity committed to protecting the human rights of asylum seekers and refugees in Wales. For over 25 years the WRC have been speaking out on behalf of those who fled persecution, conflict and oppression.

The projects and free services the WRC deliver to refugees and asylum seekers, range from legal support, advice on housing, English language classes, supporting mothers and their children, and helping refugees and asylum seekers get back to work (this we take a personal involvement with through our Employability workshops!).
