I, Imām Iftikhar did something which many imams don’t really do, I ran the Kew Garden 10k charity run for Darul Ikhlas!

I’ve already done the run but did something against the norms of such runs. I decided not to reach out to friends and well-wishers of Darul Ikhlas for donations until I’ve actually completed the run to the finishing line. I didn’t want to reach out to anyone for donations before hand as I may not have been able to participate in the run for whatever reason or may not have made it to the finishing line. AlhamdulilLāh, I was able to do both, I not only partook in the run but I also completed the run to the finishing line successfully!. 

Now I’m reaching out to all my friends and well-wishers of Darul Ikhlas to come forward and extend your token of support for this successful achievement and for a brilliant cause!

I’m not after huge amount of donations though that would be awesome! I’m just requesting everyone to donate  £10 to help me reach my target of a £1,000.00, In Shā Allāh. 

Lastly, on the authority of Abu Hurayrah (Allāh Karīm be pleased with him) our beloved Prophet (May peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said, 

Charity does not in any way decrease the wealth
