The Imām of Dārul Ikhlās is going out on another mission and this time it’s his biggest expedition yet! 312 KM to be covered by running and cycling.

The distance will be spread over 10 events in and around London’s most iconic locations. The challenge will commence with a 10 KM run in the blessed month of Ramadān in Kew Gardens, and by the end of the 10th event, a total distance of 312 KM will be covered in shā Allāh!

Dārul Ikhlās has a project in the pipeline which will be launching in September 2022, in shā Allāh; The London Institute of Islamic Studies (LIIS) liois.org.uk an educational institute for teenagers and adults which will be based both online and onsite. 

The aim of this expedition is to raise funds to launch this new project. We have a target of £10,000!

1. 10 KM run in Kew Gardens on Saturday 9th April (COMPLETED!)

2. 10 KM run in Hampton Court Palace on Sunday 22nd May (COMPLETD)

3. 100 Miles Cycle Ride (Ride London) on Sunday 29th May (COMPLETED)

4. 10 KM run in Osterley park on Saturday 11th June (COMPLETED)

5. 10 KM Asics London run on Sunday 10th July (COMPLETED)

6. 10 KM run Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Saturday 16th July (COMPLETED) 

7. 10 KM Hyde Park Saturday 30th July (COMPLETED)

8. 10 KM Regents Park Sunday 21st August (COMPLETED)

9. Duathlon: 10 KM run - 44 KM Cycling - 5 KM run in Richmond Park on Sunday 4th September (COMPLETED)

10. Ealing Half Marathon Sunday 25th September (COMPLETED)
