BUPA Great North Run 2010 · 19 September 2010 ·

Acorns supports around 750 children and almost 1,000 families every year. The charity needs to raise £11 million each year to provide its lifeline care. Your support means Acorns can continue to be there for local families facing the unimaginable. Together, we are stronger.

Story

As some of you may know last year I ran the New York Marathon for Acorns children charity and have just recently got back from completing the Geneva Marathon.

This time around i've set myself a new challenge, its no Eddie Izzard but still a challenge in itself.  My aim is to run 6 half marathons around the country in 7 weeks, including the Great North Run, the largest half marathon in the world.  I'm also running in Bristol, Windsor, Royal Parks half in London, Cardiff and finishing in Birmingham.

Having ran for Acorns before, which is a very worthwhile charity I wanted to do the same again as I know everything donated goes towards a very worthy cause (please see the link for further information).

So please support me, either by coming to watch or by donating via the justgiving page, or just wish me luck, cos i think i'll need it.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
