ILC has been raising money for the Rainbow Trust for a decade and we are now on the cusp of breaking the £1,000,000 milestone!  

We therefore wanted to find a fitting challenge in the lead up to ILC Day 2022 to mark this very special occasion.

So the ILC team are joining forces and have committed to make 1,000,000 steps during the week (whilst still working) prior to ILC Day 2022.

The main aim is to raise awareness of this incredible charity which provides children and their families with amazing support during extremely difficult times but any donations – big or small – will not only keep us ‘moving’ but act as another step in reaching the £1,000,000 mark.

ILC Day takes place on 14 February each year and is where we ask businesses within the insurance claims communities to wear red and support the Rainbow Trust.

Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity supports families who have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness. When a child has a serious illness, family life is turned upside down and time becomes more precious than ever. Rainbow Trust pairs each family with an expert Family Support Worker who enables them to make the most of time together, giving them practical and emotional support, whenever they need it, for as long as is needed. We support the whole family including parents, carers, the unwell child, brothers, sisters and grandparents.
