I am raising money for SSAFA Fife , the Armed Forces charity.SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, has been providing lifelong support to our Forces and their families since 1885. 

It will be my first Ultra Marathon (& Marathon eeek!!). I will run 36 miles along the coast of Northumberland, and would love to raise £360 for the AMAZING SSAFA Fife branch.

The charity means an incredible amount to myself and my family. As a child of parents in the Armed Forces, I have seen first hand the impact that a life in the service has on personnel and their families. 

My mum has been a volunteer at the SSAFA Fife branch for several years, and I have heard countless stories of the INCREDIBLE case work that they do within the region of Fife

"Whatever they’re facing – from debt or addiction to mental health problems – our Forces and their families can rely on SSAFA and our personalised support to help them through it, for as long as it takes to get that person’s life back to where they want it to be."

SSAFA as a whole last year helped more than 79,500 people in need, from Second World War veterans to young men and women who have served in more recent conflicts, and their families.
