We provide free ‘Homes from Home’ to keep families together

Story

Our son Jack was taken ill in hospital in March 2018.  There was a time where we thought we had lost him.  Luckily the hero's in scrubs got our boy back.  For the next two weeks we stayed by his bedside daily as he progressed.  We wouldn't have been able to do this without the support of The Sick Children's Trust providing us with accommodation on site at Addenbrookes hospital.

Fast forward a few months, I bet a guy at work that if France won the World Cup I would cycle from my office to his... sadly for me his office is in Paris!  So I now have 323 miles ahead of me in order to fulfil my goal and raise money for an extremely worthy cause!  Please donate to my cause if you can - so many families are torn apart when a loved one is in hospital, let's try to keep them together by supporting The Sick Children's Trust.

About the charity

The Sick Children’s Trust is the charity that gives families with a seriously ill child in hospital a comfortable place to stay and a friendly ear to listen in one of our ten ‘Homes from Home’. By providing families with somewhere to stay near their child they have one less thing to worry about.
