We all have mental health but there is no one way to be mentally
healthy. Yet society talks about those who fall outside of it's ideal
like a dirty secret and too many people suffer not from their disorders
but from reaction to it. The charity Mind does excellent work to help
people left in the margins and reduce the stigma surrounding mental
health and MissImp has done wonders for people's confidence and self esteem to help people perform . This is something we can all benefit from.

Personally, I struggle with Depression and Anxiety. Although diagnosed during university there were signs throughout my late teens when my Dad became ill, my dog died, failed to get into University whilst all my friends left and I was just completely lost in life. At it's worst I was deeply paranoid, not sleeping for days at a time and frequently
dissociated and have panic attacks. I still experience insomnia and periods of melancholy but with the help of therapy it no longer rules my life like it once did.
Exercise can help reduce the symptoms so during that time I started running however it was usually in response to bad episodes. It wasn't until Elliott said that he was running the Robin Hood half marathon that I asked if I could come along too and started to train seriously. I've been fully throwing myself into this since June and am ready to run 21 kilometers. Let's do this!
But I decided to pull myself back together by MissImp telling me to return and have been welcomed back with open arms and I have also taken up training at my local gym and no longer running from my problems. I am actually running for them. So it will be great to repay the favour for what everyone has done for me and go through this running challenge I have done before and it really hurts but the rewards are so nice, please my darlings donate graciously to this great charity and improve all things mental health.
