Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On Saturday 11 May we are taking on the UK Running Events 5KM inflatable obstacle course to raise money for Mesothelioma UK.

Mesothelioma is a cancer that develops primarily in the lining of the lung but can also occur in the abdomen.  It is caused by exposure to asbestos, which occurs many years before diagnosis.  In the UK around 2,500 a people a year are diagnosed with mesothelioma.

Mesothelioma UK are a charity providing specialist information, support and education, and seeking to improve care and treatment for all UK mesothelioma patients and their carers.  In the Workplace Illness team we have witnessed first hand the devastating effect mesothelioma has on the lives of our Clients and their families and we are keen to raise as much money as possible to support Mesothelioma UK in their invaluable work.

Any donation however small, is greatly appreciated.
