Story

Thank you for visiting my page - I guess you must like elephants as much as I do !

The Wildlife Heritage Foundation (another charity) has agreed to help me collect the money.

The village where MY elephant (Sinuwan) lives along with 90 other elephants has flooded. They all had to move out of their safe, comfy home to a horrible field away from the floods.Their mahouts and the volunteers went with them becasue they needed to look after them.

The elephants didn't like it there much and they began running out of food.It costs a lot to feed an elephant because they eat loads and loads.....180kg EVERY day!

They used to grow a lot of their own food to feed the elephants but the fields are flooded and they wont be able to harvest for a whole year. That means they have to buy all the food the elephants need and it is very expensive feeding that many elephants.

The very old elphants need medicine and vitamins and a lot of looking after which costs more money.

The water has gone down now but everything has either washed away or been soaked in mud.It isn't safe like it used to be and one of the older elephants died because of the floods and that is very sad.

Please help me raise money to feed the elephants and to make their home safe and happy again.

I have given all my pocket money and sold some of my toys to raise money.People have given me things to sell as well as giving the elephants money.

PLEASE HELP ME HELP THE ELEPHANTS.

Thank you very,very much

Love Immy xxx
