Story

Once again this year, a team of IMO delegates and Secretariat staff will conduct a 100K cycle ride around Richmond Park, and remotely from other parts of the world, to support seafarer's welfare.  The COVID-19 pandemic, the situation in Ukraine and other impacts on shipping have dramatically affected the lives of seafarers around the globe. .  They need the support that charities such as the Mission to Seafarers can provide.

Riders include:  Fred Kenney, Ingrid Lopez-Cardona, Michael Guy, Tamara Vassillissin, George Demiatradies (IMO Secretariat), Essam Al Ammari (Saudi Arabia), Gillian Grant (Canada), Watchara Chiemanukulkit (Thailand), Carlos Sequira (Portugal), Hanqiang Tan (Singapore), Hermann Leon Rincon (Colombia), Khalid Albakri (Qatar), Victoria Hodgson (New Zealand), Anays Berrocal (Panama), Allessandro Lo Piccolo, Geoffrey Guy, Frank McNulty (Bahamas), Damien Chevallier (France) Bruce Anderson (Starcrest - Remote from the US), Chris Trelawny (Interportpolice), George Charalampidis (WSC), Phil Belcher (Intertanko) Unni Einemo (IBIA) and Stewart Inglis (MSC) .

This years ride will be conducted on June 25th, the International Day of the Seafarer.  A fitting way to show support on seafarer's special day.  Please show your support, as well!
