The Lily Foundation was founded in Lily's memory, having lost her battle with Mitochondrial Disease at just eight months old. The Charity aims to give hope, answers and support to the many other children and families afflicted by the challenges of this disease today.

Did you know every twenty minutes a child is born who will develop Mitochondrial Disease by the age of 16! There is no cure for this disease, which is for many, debilitating and life-limiting. Please stand with us and fight Mitochondrial Disease, and fight for hope.

To this end, I have committed myself to taking part in this demanding boxing event to raise money for the fight against Mitochondrial Disease, a disease that has robbed people, children, babies of their shot at life. Please help me raise money to find hope and answers, so the future for today’s families won’t have to suffer so much.

My boxing bouts are in front of over 700 people and require dedication, mental challenge and physical resilience. It has taken me way outside my comfort zone but it will all be worth it if I have raised money and awareness for this wonderful foundation.
