DofE Diamond Challenge · 31 December 2016 ·

We’re more determined than ever to make sure new generations, especially young people from disadvantaged groups, can discover the power of DofE.

Story

I’m not putting it off any longer. I’m taking the D of E Diamond Challenge right now. Join me or sponsor me and help transform the lives of vulnerable young people.

By raising money during the Duke of Edinburgh Diamond Jubilee year young people, who otherwise wouldn’t get the opportunity, will be able to learn from and experience D of E like I did.

It is great challenge for young people, and enables multiple skills to be developed in a range of areas from sport to the arts to charity which I feel is key in developing their futures.

The expeditions allowed me to learn a lot about myself, and developed a love of the outdoors and walking in the countryside which years later I still thrive on.

A new challenge I am setting myself is the undertaking of mud runs, last year I started with a 5km Colour Run (amble) so this is my next progression as running is not my greatest skill... who knows what challenges I will try in the future.

The event I will be attempting is the Spring Wolf Run on the 9th April 2016!!
