Imogen does a runner

Look, full disclosure, this is terrible timing. I signed up for this two weeks ago and didn’t post the fundraising page then because I was waiting for the news to be a little less virusy. More fool me eh. Anyway, if you’re still in salary right now maybe bung a couple of quid that you saved on that big night out to an amazing bereavement charity, and if it goes ahead, see what it looks like when an average-at-best runner tries to spend an hour running after 3 months of home workouts and quarantine chocolate? It will be a good laugh if nothing else.
I'm running for Cruse Bereavement Care. They do brilliant campaigns, like offering training for employers, or how businesses can make it easier when people have to inform them someone has died. They also run social groups and helplines, based on areas, who you've lost, or how you lost them, so you can always talk to and meet other sympathetic people. Grief is really strange and odd and unpredictable and unique to every person but somehow other people who've gone through it seem to just get whatever ways you're experiencing it, even if it's totally different to them, and that's why Cruse is such an amazing charity.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
