Dreamdrops aims to make life a little easier when it can be at it's most stressful by providing all those little (and large) extras that are not covered by public funds. The charity's work doesn't just stop at the hospital door, as funds are also used to help sick children cared for at home.

Story

Back in April this year, our daughter Imogen was admitted into hospital after having 2 seizures. When we arrived in hospital the Doctors ran all the necessary tests to try and find out what was causing her to fit.

When we received the results of the tests it was found that Imogen had Hypoglycemia (Low blood sugars to me and you!). Imogen's sugars had been so low they were low enough to cause her brain damage, which as you can imagine was very scary for us as parents!

It was thought at the time that her low sugars were the cause of her fitting, however since being back and forth ever since with 4 more seizures it is now thought that they are not connected.

They still do not know what is causing Imogen to have these health issues so we have recently been referred to Great Ormand Street for Imogen's hypoglycemia and to Addenbrookes for her Seizures!

Imogen is a very happy and content baby - even when her sugars are very low you wouldn't know there was anything wrong, as as parents it's sometimes hard to believe anything IS wrong with our perfect little girl!

So this is where you lovely people in! The staff on the ward have been AMAZING and have gone out of their way to ensure Imogen is happy when she is in hospital!

We are raising money as a thank you for all the fantastic work they do, so dig deep and help us raise as much as possible!

We will be holding lots of events throughout the year so make sure you check back often to find details on the 'updates' section :)

Thank you,

Tim & Kirsty xxx
