We raise money to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

Story

Aine Lark (nee McGreevy) was a twin and one of eight children to Anne and Pat McGreevy, from Belfast.

Having grown up in a conflict society, Aine attended St Louise's Comprehensive, before graduating in Drama at the University of Canterbury and beginning her career in drama and teaching in London.

A teacher, chair of National Drama, and Kingston Arts, Aine's life and love were measured by the success of young people in drama and education.

Aine had just celebrated her 50th when she was diagnosed with cancer. It was a devastating blow to our family, so soon after losing both our parents.

Aine was afforded the greatest care during her time at The Royal Marsden in London in September 2020. During the Covid pandemic, the staff in the Kennaway Ward did everything possible to allow Aine's five brothers and two sisters to be with her.

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre.

We hope you can support us in our simplest of endeavors on April 30 as we acknowledge the immeasurable care and dignity Aine received during her short illness.
