Capital Kids Cricket is a youth development charity that uses sport as a vehicle to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people living across London. Sports and life skill sessions are delivered across a range of settings including in schools, hospitals and at community clubs.

Story

We very sadly lost our dear friend Chris Rebbeck to a heart attack on 11th August 2022 at the age of 50.

Chris was a huge cricket fan, as well as playing he had membership to three different cricket clubs. He liked to tour all the different cricket grounds and was a regular at Lords. It didn't matter who was playing, Chris just wanted to watch cricket.

In Chris's memory we (Alex Rennie, Evangelos Tilegrafos, Georgie Wilkinson, Jay Walkden, Sarah Brown & Shamsa Bangash) are taking on the Surrey Three Peaks challenge to raise funds for the Capital Kids Cricket Charity (CKC). We will be walking 22 miles across Box Hill, Holmbury Hill & Leith Hill on Saturday 29th October

Capital Kids Cricket uses cricket to unify people, regardless of their differences, & reach across boundaries to bring people & communities together. Cricket is a unique team sport that relies on individual performances within a team environment. Through playing the game, children & young people learn, among others skills, how to take responsibility as an individual, work as part of a team & accomplish their goals through doing both

Thank you for fundraising for Capital Kids Cricket & remembering our friend Chris
