Few families in modern society have not been or will not be affected by Cancer at some point in their lifetimes.  And unfortunately it was Cancer that took John from us decades too early.

Tenovus is Wales' leading cancer charity and does amazing work providing support, advice and treatment to anyone affected by cancer. Originally founded in 1943, initially the charity funded a wide range of projects in the local area, but in the 1960s Tenovus built the Tenovus Institute for Cancer Research in Cardiff to carry out vital research into the causes of cancer and this was a project that would influence their work for the next 40 years. The mission of Tenovus is to ‘work in partnership to deliver innovative research-led cancer prevention, treatment and support in the community to people with the greatest need” and the fantastic people that work tirelessly every day in support of this mission provided great support to John and his family in their time of need.
