I will be participating in a community challenge to South Eastern India (Jan 27^th – Feb 4^th 2007) where I will be working alongside families who have had their lives turned upside down by the tsunami of 26^th December 2004. I will be helping families to rebuild their lives by building simple, decent homes with Habitat for Humanity Great Britain (Registered Charity No. 1043641).

All the costs of my direct expenses are covered (travel, accommodation, food, insurance etc). In addition I have agreed to raise at least £500 in sponsorship for Habitat for Humanity Great Britain; In turn they will send at least 80% of my sponsorship to the host country.

As an international housing charity, its mission is to eliminate substandard housing worldwide. It was founded in 1976 and now works in 92 countries. Habitat for Humanity works with needy people from all races and religions. Currently one house is built every 26 minutes! But as we know there is much more to do.

As I say, my goal is to raise £500 (min). Can you please help me to reach this goal?
