Story

Myself and my dad are walking the West Highland Way, which is 96 miles long, carrying our own equipment and wild camping from Milngavie to Fort William on the 6th of September. We thought a good way to keep us motivated and focused is to raise money for a charity thats close to my heart. I was diagnosed with Chronic Psoriasis back in January, this at the time covered over 80% of my body and affected me mentallly, physically and emotionally. I had to overcome daily struggles of how this affected me by staying positive throughout my treatment. Currently there is no cure only ointments, tablets and alternative treatments to help control it. Psoriasis roughly affects 2-3% of the UK population and comes in different forms which all range from mild to severe. By raising funds and awareness we are doing our bit to help work towards a cure in the future and to support others going through this.

We’ll provide updates along the way of how we’re doing.
