We offer emotional and practical support to help sufferers of asbestos conditions

Story

Having (just about) survived last year's Fife Coastal Path Marathon Trek, the dedicated athletes of the Digby Brown Industrial Disease team are looking out their blister packs in readiness for another sponsored challenge to raise funds for Asbestos Action and Clydebank Asbestos Group.

Both Asbestos Action and Clydebank Asbestos Group are charities based in Dundee and Glasgow who, as members of the Asbestos Victim Support Groups Forum UK, provide dedicated support services to asbestos victims. They offer one-to-one holistic support to anybody diagnosed with an asbestos condition. They do a fantastic job often seeing and supporting people at their most vulnerable.

On Friday 3rd May 2019, the whole team, including Fraser, Euan, Nick, Jillian, Mark, Gary, Caitlyn, Siobhan, Sarah, Nadia and Zuerika will walk or be dragged from Croy to Clydebank passing places and sites that they come across in their day to day work. The team will set off from the Auchinstarry Marina in Kilsyth at about 8.00am and walk through Kirkintilloch and Bishopbriggs with an end point at the Clydebank Memorial around 17.00.

Your support and generosity would be greatly appreciated for these very worthy causes.
