So I have competed in the London Excel Triathalon for Wateraid, ridden 54 miles 😳in the London to Brighton bike ride for the Food Chain, and 5 years on, it's only natural that I should take part in a sponsored swim (1 mile) in the Serpentine, yes you heard that right. This time I am fundraising for the Steve Sinnott Foundation - I am a great supporter of education for all, so please take the time to read about this amazing charity, dig deep into your pockets and sponsor me, I have swum a mile a few times in the nice warm pool but not in a wetsuit nor the Serpentine..🏊🏼♀️😱 your support is greatfully appreciatedIngrid has a varied history of work having spent nearly 25 years working for the social housing sector, she decided to move into Education four years ago and is now at UCL in Central London. She has previously competed in other charity events, a triathlon for Water Aid in 2008, and the London to Brighton bike ride for The Food Chain, a HIV awareness charity where she was also a volunteer. Ingrid loves to travel and literally takes the term ‘silver surfer’ all the way, she has just returned from Portugal where she was learning how to surf, as well as getting her swimming practice in for The Steve Sinnott Foundation, as she is an avid supporter of Education For All and believes all children must have the right to education, whatever their circumstances.
