Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This will be my 3rd consecutive 'Great North Run' and this year I have decided to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
Most of you who know me will also remember our very good friend Craig 'Builder' Tye who died suddenly at the end of last year.
We were all shocked to hear of this very sudden and unexpected passing and shocked even further to find out that it was due to heart failure....at such a young age!
I met Craig when I was just 11 years old and we remained very good friends for the last 30 years.....I still cannot believe he is no longer with us!!!
I have decided to run for the BHF as this seems to be the obvious choice.
They are the nation's heart charity. Their vision is a world where people don't die prematurely from heart disease. Their aim is to achieve this through pioneering research, vital prevention activity and ensuring quality care and support for everyone living with heart disease.
I've set a target of £300, but I'd be delighted if I could raise more.
Please donate as little or as much as you like.
Kind regards
Stuart.
