Bring Ed Home · 15 May 2016

Glencoe Mountain Rescue has been providing a free rescue service in the Glencoe area since 1961. Run entirely by volunteers and hugely reliant on donations for funding, the rescue service extends to mountains, rivers, lochs, caves and the sea across North Argyll and on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Dear All,

Edward Davies went missing after planning a hike at the Glencoe area on Sunday 8th May.

All that knew Ed held every hope that he was going to be found well. Despite the incredible efforts of the rescue team and rapid response, the dreadful news was confirmed.

The Glencoe Mountain Rescue run by volunteers rapidly responded and measured no efforts to bring Ed home to his family.

Let Ed live on in our thoughts to be forever remembered for his kind heart, humbleness, and free spirit.

This is the time to thank the Glencoe Mountain Rescue and show our appreciation for their hard work and perseverance. The rescue team is run by volunteers and relies heavily on donations to continue its work.

In Ed's memory and all those whose the Glencoe Mountain Rescue Centre have helped, please donate. Any amount donated, large or small, will be greatly appreciated.

Ed will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
