In memory of Jean Wales
We Fight chest, heart & stroke illnesses to Improve the lives of people across NI

Story

The veterinary profession in Northern Ireland lost a valued member earlier this year when NIVA president Jean Wales died suddenly from a heart attack.  This was a massive shock not only to Jeans close family and friends but to the profession as a whole.

NIVA has therefore decided to hold an event in memory of Jean.  The event will be a charity dog walk and BBQ at Shane’s Castle, Antrim on 3rd September.  This family event was one that Jean was keen to run in her year as president and therefore is a very fitting
memorial to her.

We understand that not everyone will be able to attend the organised event but they may still wish to pay tribute to Jean by making a donation on this page to Northern Ireland Chest, Heart and Stroke.
