John passed away in February of this year after a short illness.  The team members taking part in the Walk for Life all knew John through BNI, a local business networking organisation of which John had been a member for a number of years.  We met John every week and he was the life and soul of our meetings.  As an electrician John’s catch phrase was “For the light of your Life not the shock of your life” and John was certainly responsible for lighting up our Tuesday mornings.

Whilst John was being cared for at home by his wife Liz they received a great deal of help from Farleigh’s Hospice at Home Service, they were fantastic with John and made him feel comfortable in his final weeks.
