In memory of Ian McConville (Macca) - raising money for Breast Cancer Care

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to visit this page which has been set up in memory of my step-dad Ian McConville (Macca), who died suddenly at home, on 9th April 2015, of heart complications.
As you are visiting this page you must have known Ian and so I know you will be feeling your own sense of loss, for Ian unforgettably touched the lives of all who knew him. Ian will be remembered for the warmth of friendship that he exuded and the love and laughter that always surrounded him He had an extraordinary appeal which crossed generations and I have no doubt that he will be held fondly forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
Mum and I, and all of Ian's family, have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support that we have received at this difficult time. Many people have asked whether they can send charity donations, instead of flowers, and we have set up this page in support of Breast Cancer Care. Most of you will know that in October 2013 Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer and Ian would be the first to tell you that Breast Cancer Care were a wonderful support to mum. The diagnosis shook Mum and Ian's world and they grew even closer, if that is possible, and Ian was Mums rock during this time. As such it is fitting that donations in Ian's memory can be made to Breast Cancer Care.
As Ian was only 53, and had no symptoms to indicate a heart condition prior to his sudden passing, we have also set up a page for donations to the British Heart foundations. If you would prefer to donate to this charity in Ian's memory please go to www.justgiving.com/ianmcconville
Thank you for your ongoing support to mum and all the family, Macca would be very grateful.
