Great Bristol Half Marathon 2017 · 17 September 2017 ·

Taking on the Great Bristol Half Marathon is more than just taking on a physical challenge when you choose to run for your local Hospice.

Story

On September 17th we will be running the Bristol Half Marathon in memory of Sarah, who died from cancer in November last year. Sarah used to love watching her family and friends taking part in the Bristol Half Marathon over the years, so this feels like a fitting tribute. We are raising much needed funds for the people who looked after her so fantastically - St Peter's Hospice. Thank you for visiting this page, thank you for anything you are able to donate and thank you in advance to any cheerleaders on the day.

St Peter's Hospice is Bristol's ONLY adult hospice caring for local people with life-limiting illnesses. Their commitment is to improve the quality of life of patients while extending care and support to their families and loved ones. All of their care is provided free of charge, but it costs them around £20,000 a day to provide that care. For most of this money they rely on Gifts in Wills, donations, fundraising and their shops.
