St Richard’s Hospice is an independent charity offering free, expert care for adults with an illness that cannot be cured, and support for their loved ones and carers. Each year the hospice team supports more than 3,100 patients, family members and bereaved people in Worcestershire.

Story

After a year long brave fight against Burkitt's Lymphoma, sadly Stuart passed away on 7th March 2012.

Stuart was just 42 years old, leaving behind his wife, their beloved son and all his family and friends.

He was a very tall, fun-loving, extremely kind, generous and talented man.  He loved fast cars and motorbikes.  He was always smiling and cared more about others than himself.

Despite his illness, he never changed.  He still smiled, laughed and took it all in his stride.  He was, and is, an example to us all.  He is an inspiration to everyone that knew him, especially in his courage.
