Rebecca Howell, Daniel Rea, Emily Pinkham, Laura Sloan, Julia Scott, Jackie Newman, Alice Ferry, Ram Nat, Anna Sangiorgi, John Inwood, Alan Siegert, Charley Pearce, Anna Meadham, Sean Devlin, James Kilroy, Nisha Sharma, Patience Buxton, Peter Franklin, Ahmed Kafafi, Lucy Black, James Justice and Reggie Aleong are laying themselves on the line for charity. Quite literally!

On 1st December we will join 200 others sleeping rough in Uxbridge to raise money for charity. We will have a cardboard box, a plastic sheet and whatever we are wearing and can carry. It will be cold, dark, uncomfortable, possibly wet and pretty scary.

Every charity is important and worthy. Every charity has a heart-rending story to tell. Trinity is no exception. The difference is that is that they are making change as part of the community within which we work and many of us live.

Trinity does have some differences. Trinity does not take lottery funding or government funding. They teach that to truly survive and thrive, someone has to pay their own way. Thus they live that value themselves. In 5 years they have increased income by 20%, decreased costs by 10% and housed 3 times more people. Astonishing!

In 2015 Trinity served over 27000 hot meals, coached 130 people into work and provided 71000 nights of accommodation. Insight Uxbridge has selected Trinity as the charity of choice for 2017 and 2018 and this night of discomfort is just one way we can show respect for those caught in the most difficult of circumstances whilst raising some money.
