The charity I am supporting to fundraise for is Winning Women Worldwide.

Our Winning Kids Children's Home opened in 2007, building a place of safety for children that need it, in Zimbabwe and support the home to continue to run. 

We rely on monthly donations and fund raising to support the children who live within the home. This includes the upkeep of the home, day to day running costs including electricity, gas, medical needs, food, clothing and most importantly the children's education. This includes their school uniforms and shoes. Our aim is to support and educate the children until they have finished schooling, get a job and become independent. We provide a safe place for vulnerable children to learn, grow and feel valued and loved. 

The social welfare in Zimbabwe have recognised us as a ‘safe, caring and loving Home’ they will bring children to our home for safety until they can find suitable placements. We have 11 permanent children age 2 – 18yrs.
