In December, during the winter season, Inspire FM takes a break from traditional fundraising to focus our efforts on our own community through a Winter Campaign with the aim to raise awareness, money and support for community projects/concerns that are dear to our hearts.

How many of us can count ourselves amongst the fortunate? A home to live in, with shelter from the cold wet winter weather, together with family and neighbours we can turn to for help. We suspect, with Allah’s grace, most of us; however a small group within our community have none. This year we want all of our listeners and followers to help us raise money to support the lonely and venerable members of the homeless community in our town this winter month.

Our 2017 winter campaign is to bring solace and relief to the homeless from the bitter winter season by aiming to distribute hot meals from a
local soup kitchen for up to 10 weeks. We have partnered with Curry Kitchen, a joint initiative by Community Interest Luton & Discover Islam Centre, to help us achieve this, we just need your help to raise £1,500 towards providing 100 hot meals every Friday for 10 weeks (each week costs £150 for 100 meals).
