Could you join your industry colleagues to run for dementia? On 23 June 2022, runners from across the insurance sector will take on the challenge in Victoria Park, London.

Story

Alzheimer's Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

Some of you might know that I was unable to run for the past two years after I got hit by a car. Two years of intensive physio later, I still haven't really attempted to run. But I do believe this is the right time and opportunity to challenge myself while supporting an incredible cause.

My physiotherapist thinks I am being very optimistic in believing I will actually be able to run the whole 5k by then, but that just makes me want to prove him wrong so on the 19 of May you will hopefully see me run the whole distance.

Thank you for supporting me with this challenge.
