The Tandem Tart Challenge.

The TTC was born in March 2016.

Before being diagnosed with M.E. in 2013, I had competed in all distances on the back of a tandem, including two 24 hour time trials. So what better way to raise funds for vital research into this devasting condition than to compete in a variety of time trials on the tandem with a different Partner each time.

I thought this challenge would soon run it's course but here we are, starting our tenth year and 86 Partners have joined the elusive 'Tart Club'.

After competing in the London marathon last year, I though I had learnt my lesson but true to form, the lost toenails, the aches and pains and the 'never again' was soon forgotton. On 19th April I hope to trot around the Newport marathon and with any luck, beat my London finishing time of 5 hours 34 minutes!

Please help me continue raising funds for the ME Associations Ramsay Research Fund. They are supporting so many different reseach projects so that hopefully one day we will find a cure.
