On the 4th September, a team at ICS will be participating in a half marathon from Tower Hill to the Cutty Sark, Greenwich.
Our chosen charity for this event is the Sailors Society. The Sailors Society Charity offer welfare, chaplaincy, mental health support and crisis response to seafarers and their families around the world, not only have they supported seafarers and their families throughout the pandemic & the Ukraine crisis, they have been supporting seafarers for over 200 years.
The Big Half will see up to 15,000 runners set off from
09:00 by Tower Bridge on the 13.1-mile course which finishes at the iconic Cutty Sark in Greenwich. Bands and entertainers will be performing along the route and the day will conclude with live music, food and activities for all the family at The Vitality Big Festival near the Finish Area in Greenwich Park until 16:00.
