We provide a helpline, and webchat service to help prevent suicide in the UK

Story

The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK. Our goal is a life less miserable for you, your friends, your family and for all men.CALM PROVIDES> A free and anonymous helpline 0800 58 58 58 and webchat (5pm-12am daily) staffed by trained professionals> Bereavement support > A website www.theCALMzone.net with inspiring content> Campaigns tackling stereotypes of masculinity, suicide and mental health. Help us save lives.

And as for me?   I broadcasted my first 'In The Moog' Show from the studios of NCCR (North Cotswold Community Radio) in November 2013 opening with the classic "Blue Monday" by New Order.   From a 2 hour weekly show, it has grown to become a 4 hour show now followed by 'InTheMoogXtra', which sees me broadcasting for another 2-3 hours until about 2am.

I alternate Wednesday evening shows between newmusic/indiesynth music and retro/mainstream (Gary Numan, Depeche Mode, OMD, Kraftwerk, Ultravox - you get the idea!).  Shows are often themed with a few interviews and 'Specials' along the way.  Shows are available to ListenAgain via my show's page on the NCCR website and on Mixcloud.

ListenLive (online (only) via computer, tablet or phone): www.nccr.co.uk 7-11pm UK time, every Wednesday.
