EVERY 90 SECONDS someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury (ABI). There are many possible causes, such as a fall, a road traffic accident, an assault, a tumour or a stroke. A brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time. When it does, we're here to help

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit ourJustGiving page.

Southwell Invictus Explorers are continuing our adventuring at home, whilst we cannot get out an about as normal. We have decided to undertake the challenging of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro... on our stairs. Each member will have to climb at least 85 flights each, which is quite a challenge!

We are hoping to raise lots of money for Headway, in memory of Jo Tipple, who sadly passed away recently, unexpectedly. Jo was an active member of our community, well loved and a good friend to many, and also the Mum of one of our Explorers. We wanted to do something to support his family and to remember Jo.
