Story

Hi Friends!

At the start of September I will be taking on the biggest physical challenge of my life...

My goal is to climb 20 Munros in a week, including the Inaccessible Pinnacle, which is widely regarded as the most difficult of them all. With a total ascent of around 30,000 ft (more than Everest!), it's perhaps not the most relaxing way to spend my annual leave, but if I can raise a bit of money for my chosen charities, it will be well worth it.

I'm supporting Social Bite and Special Olympics, as these are two charities doing some incredible work helping disadvantaged people. Social Bite seeks to alleviate homelessness through employment, temporary housing, and free meals. Special Olympics provides sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Both charities are giving people opportunities and support they wouldn't otherwise receive, and are so deserving of every penny that gets sent their way.

I will be so grateful if you can help me up the mountains and support these great causes by donating to either of my chosen charities. I would love to be able to raise about an equal amount for each charity. Please feel free to share my page with anyone you know who may be interested in supporting me and these fantastic charities.

Just to note, poor weather conditions, in particular high winds, could impact my opportunity to complete the challenge.

I will be keeping my Instagram & Facebook updated as I take on the challenge to keep you all up-to-date with how many blisters I have, so make sure to follow along there.

Thank you in advance!

Iona
